Liquid time?

I'm going to look like an idiot if this has already been answered, but... what are the rules for liquid time, if any? Are we allowed to stick one character into multiple threads at the same time? (I'm assuming travelling-wise it has to make sense too, like no magically appearing in Sinnoh one moment and then Hoenn the next, unless you have a flier or something.)

PS. Also, what on earth happened to the IC cbox? Did it die? |D

I don't really pay mind to time. More threads are created and active when people are allowed to be in more than one place at one time. As long as it doesn't affect the plot drastically, I don't mind where your characters are and when.
