First and foremost, I'd like to greet our new members, and prospective guest/lurkers. Welcome aboard the U.S.S. The Very Best! For those of you new here, or wanting to join, I sincerely thank you.
It's been quite an interesting two month period. Unfortunately, the site seems to be dwindling in activity, with very few posts done per day, if at all. But that's no reason to dishearten. The activity seems to have been down in a slump, but there's still a way to recover from this, for starters, new people, the fact that you're here, ready to RP will easily bring the activity back. Can't have a good site, without good members!
For now, I've been advertising as much as I can, and if you like the place, and you'd like to see it return back to its shiny, active old self, I'd really suggest you do the same; this goes for new members and old members alike. In fact, until stated otherwise, I've decided to double the amount of money you receive per referral, not to mention your friend would also receive a small bonus, courtesy of moi. Be sure your friend PMs me (account name: soltre) with the fact that you recruited him or her, and you should be good to go!
For now, there's not much else to say. I really like this place, and I'd hate to see it become stagnant, or worse case scenario, see it close down. So let's try our best to bring it back from the slump that it's in, and most importantly, let's have fun while doing it. RPing regularly will bring back activity, and it's fun too, so stick around, make yourself comfortable, make a character, or two, or four, and play. The cBox is almost always open for chat, and the more people we have striking a conversation, the better. Let's return TVB back to its bustling, shiny activity, and let's have fun, most importantly!

Boards that have been finished or have been inactive for an extended period of time (one month) and are no longer in use will be moved here and locked. If we have placed one of your boards here and you would like to retrieve it, please PM an admin and they will unlock it for you.
Here is where anyone is free to advertise their forums, request affiliation, or request to be our sister site. We ask that you follow our rules and that you only submit Proboards websites. We reserve the right to refuse any requests for just reasons. Please make sure you post in the appropriate area.
Once you have consumed our important information like rules, plot and setting, you may report here and create your character. Be sure to follow our template provided so that everything is nice and tidy. Please DO NOT hassle the admins to approve your character. You will upset us. We will get to it as soon as possible. Pinky swear.
Congratulations! You have passed the test and we have accepted your awesome character! A staff member will move it here and lock it. If for some reason you wish to edit or alter the profile, please PM a staff member and they will unlock and move it back to pending. We will look at the profile again before moving it back though. Any characters that are dusty and unused or if your account is deleted, they will be moved to the archives.
Once you have an accepted character, you should take a look here. You will mostly find things here that you can earn to use. We also have some useful things that you can use freely such as thread tracker boards and relationships boards. Mind the shop to find out how to acquire some of the stuff.
The Kanto region is one of the most heavily populated regions out of all. There are many famous things that originated here including the first trainer to defeat the Elite Four. A few other legendary names are the great Professor Oak, Bill (Creator of the first PC system), and the Elite Four itself. They say that legends are born here and those who were born and raised have a great sense of pride for their region.
Some of the toughest Gym Leader's are found in the Johto region. It is also known for it's heavy religion. Belief's are based around two great legendary birds of fire and water. Some say you can also see the great dog spirits near an old burned tower. Many have spent their lives searching for these legendary Pokémon. The birds were deemed the names Ho-Oh of the volcano and Lugia of the oceans. The dogs are known as Suicune, Raikou, and Entei. Few have claimed they have witnessed these great creatures, but even fewer believe that.
According to legend, the Hoenn region was created by three Pokémon gods: Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. This region is primarily marine routes. Water Pokémon lovers from around the world come to explorer the underwater caves that infest the seas of the region. It is the only region that has such glorious sites, hence the predominately water Pokémon trainers.
Sinnoh is one of the largest regions. It is very random as most of the region is warm and the very north is snowy. This region believes that the Pokémon Arceus is a god-like being that created our world. They say this regions is heavily populated with various legendary Pokémon. Here they even believe that there is an alternate world that is negative to our world. Don't try to convince them otherwise, they're sticking to their beliefs.
Unova is one of the furthest regions. It's focal point is an Entralink, said to connect to other worlds. This region believes in the once existence of a Dragon legendary that divided between itself, taking the side of two brothers with opposing beliefs, forming Reshiram and Zekrom. The two legendary Dragons fought and destroyed the region once, before turning into stones, only to be reawakened by heroes.
Team Rocket's headquarters, unlike before, are more confidently placed. An island near Cinnebar has been wiped out and renovated to suit the Team Rocket lifestyle. For many, it's impossible to get there, unless you are Team Rocket. Simply because of the hazards that TR have learned to dodge which are potentially fatal. Just as Team Rocket likes it. The whole island has taken on an industrial appearance. Thick black smoke is often seen over the horizon when looking from Cinnebar. No one is really certain what goes on there. Except Rocket members of course.
Some of our members may have an artsy side to them. Share your stuff here, whatever it may be. Get critiques, suggestions, and applause for your finest work. Let's all be mature and not bash anyone's art. We staffers will get you for that.
Members are encouraged to post here. We know it's tough being a new member and all. You don't know many people and you're not sure who has common interests with you. Well, post a little about yourself here and make a friends! We frown upon flaming or picking fun at members for any reason. Do it, and you'll face the consequences. Let's be mature now people.
Role playing all the time just isn't that fun. Maybe for some it is, but not all. If you'd like to chat with other members, get to know them, and make new friends, feel free to do so here! Our story isn't like the one's you hear where tragedy ensues, but a hero rises to bring justice and peace. There is no hero bringing down evil. Our hope was lost when even the Gym Leaders and Elite four fled from their wrath. They're working on taking over this world. It's working. Few have been able to fight back. Most give up before they try. We're losing faith and the Pokemon are losing faith too. Who are we losing the battle to? The classics of course; Team Rocket. You've heard of Magma, Aqua, Galactic and even those newer guys, Plasma. Those guys are no more. They all fell to their knees and sided with him; the new Leader of Team Rocket that took out Giovanni. He's one hundred times more brutal but no one knows who he is. Is there anyone who even stands a chance against them?
